I am a Western convert to Shia Islam. I am interested in religious studies, politics, and foreign languages. I enjoy learning about belief systems, comparative jurisprudential systems, and comparative religions. I am politically liberal and like to follow world affairs/current events. I also try to maintain my knowledge of Spanish and French while picking up words and phrases from other languages. I participate in various Shia Islamic discussion forums, such as RMA
